Tomorrow at 11:54pm Pacific time the Virgo Lunar Eclipse will be at its apex. In ancient times, we are told, our ancestors feared and revered eclipses. It was a time to stop, to hide, to be quiet and allow the “omen” to pass. Some modern day astrologers recommend that we not do rituals or attempt manifestations during eclipse seasons. Most agree that eclipses have a karmic/more intense soul journey feel to them than regular new or full moons. Some would say because of this it isn’t necessary, and in fact may be pointless, to attempt manifestation or rituals during these times of year (remember we have eclipse seasons twice a year). Many would argue that the best thing to do for an eclipse is allow it to pass and the Universe to do her thing, bringing in what is already “destined” or “fated” for us.
I don’t believe in “destiny” or “fate,” however I do strongly and deeply believe in our interconnectedness with everything in the universe, and this includes the planets and luminaries…
