Tomorrow is the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere (and fall equinox in the southern). The equinoxes mark the midway between solstices, they are the times of year we have equal hours of daylight and nighttime in a 24 hour period. The spring equinox represents rebirth, creativity, shifting from the quiet slowness and composting of winter into the more active planting and harvesting of spring and summer. It also marks the astrological new year as the equinox is also the first day of Aries season, as an extra nod to new beginnings, starting over, starting fresh, giving time and space for both rooting down and branching out.
