What is Trauma Informed Embodiment (TIE)
Trauma healing comes in many shapes and sizes. There are multiple somatic-based modalities (TIE being one of them), all similar to each other but with their own special quirks. Outside of coaching and therapy, there is body work, spiritual work, ancestral work, creative endeavors, communing with nature, cuddling with pets, building friendships and community, etc and so on.
I often tell my clients that work beyond what we do together is also a necessary part of their healing journey. There are as many ways to do this work as there are humans on the planet. Some things work for some folks but not for others. Some things work for a period of time for someone but they they need to change things up at some point. Some things never work for one person but works great for others. At the end of the day, only you know what works for you, and what doesn’t.
