1. Sometimes what we think is the main event, is really “only” a side quest.

2. Side quests can be epic too.

3. Sometimes we need to let folks deal with the consequences of their choices and actions on their own.

4. Time can change everything. And sometimes time changes nothing at all. Most often both things are true simultaneously.

5. A certain level of emotional intelligence and maturity is required to have the privilege of accessing my time and energy.

6. We cannot keep using the master’s tools to try building a new paradigm.

7. Infighting is not the answer.

8. No one gives a shit how well versed in socialist/communist/anarchist theory/philosophy you are. We only care about your actual practice and actions.

9. Knit picking details is doing the oppressor’s work for them.

10. Never mistake a person’s kindness for weakness.

11. We cannot expect nor ask for perfection. We can and should ask for and expect accountability.
