  1. Unmasking is a process that happens in layers. Growing compassion and patience for ourselves needs to be a part of the process.

  2. We can’t make promises for tomorrow, we can only live our truth and values today.

  3. Some people like to climb mountains, others like to go within them. Both have value.

  4. Connecting to our intuition and inner (or other) knowing, asks us to get quiet and listen to not only our thoughts, but our feelings (physiological sensations and emotions) and learning to decipher what are trauma responses and what is our knowing (and what is a combination of both)

  5. We cannot rush our healing, growth, or evolution. We need to both put in the work while surrendering to the process.

  6. We can begin and re-begin our somatic practices anytime we need or want.

  7. Embodiment is a practice and not something we can “perfect” or fully arrive at 24/7.

  8. Our Core Self, or Soul, knows what we need (to do, be, create, destroy, grow, etc). Embodiment/somatics plus parts work helps us hear what we know benea…
