When we take the time and space to consider what we want and need in our relationships, it is important to take a good look at boundaries.

Both our own and that of others.

To look at the ways we have allowed our own boundaries to be crossed. The ways we have accepted abusive behavior. The ways we have tolerated the silent treatment. The ways we have tolerated being ridiculed, called names. The ways we have tolerated being treated like we aren't important, we don't matter, we are less than.

The ways our insecurities have been exploited.

The ways our private conversations have been shared without our knowledge. Photographs taken and shared without our consent.

And all the ways we have done the same or similar to others.
