1. Sometimes it can feel like managing our trauma responses and attachment wounds is a full time job.

2. It feels that way because sometimes it is.

3. Sorting out what is our own to manage and what is important to discuss in a relationship can be challenging and confusing to say the least.

4. Controlling the urges to lash out, to bolt, to have a massive tantrum at someone... this is exhausting.

5. And while exhausting is necessary to help us not perpetuate harm and to keep our relationships safe.

6. No one can read our minds. This is both a blessing and a curse.

7. We all want to be understood, loved, and held when we are in our darkest places.

8. People will unintentionally poke at all our attachment wounds and trauma. We need to decide if it makes sense to keep those people in our lives or not. If we can manage so many opportunities for our own growth all at once or not
