Listening to ourselves
Sometimes one or more of our parts tell us all the reasons why Not.
They give us all the logic. They are reasonable. They point out facts. They remind us of reality.
This argument our parts makes, makes total sense. In our logic brain, we know they are likely right.
But sometimes...
Our lived experience can defy logic.
Sometimes we know what we feel. And we have the positive pattern recognition to back it up.
Sometimes we know we aren’t ready. We should always take heed when we know this.
And.
Sometimes we can’t wait until we are ready.
Sometimes we have to tell our parts to step back, to take a seat, and allow our Core Self to be who they are.
Sometimes we have to feel into the experience we are having right now.
Root down into it. Allow the sensations to wash over us. Let the emotions be felt, heard, acknowledged.
