Learning to trust our knowing/intuition/gut is a practice and for those of us with c-ptsd it is complicated, to say the least. Timing is always a thing, so learning to trust kairos is also a thing.  Add to this the fabricated sense of urgency to be constantly in the doing the oppressive systems we live under create for us, and it can feel nearly impossible to connect to our Core Self, our inner Truth, our own deep knowing.

Sometimes something we thought we never wanted is presented to us in a way that actually works for us and we are then left in the question of “Do I want this now?” Being open to possibilities is not easy and asks us to constantly be strengthening our relationship with Core Self.  Remembering that we are ever evolving beings, that we morph and shift over time and as we heal our past wounds, what we thought we never wanted “then” may be exactly what we want or need now.
