Today, we claim our voice. Our voice as ours. Our voice as coming from us, not through us from others. Our voice to speak our truth, to express our wants, needs, desires, to allow ourselves to be seen and heard.
Communication is a part of all our relationships. We are communicating constantly. It may not always be verbally. It may not always be in the most kind or loving of ways. And regardless, we are communicating.
It is important to learn to communicate through our voice. To be able to speak and say what we want, what we don't want, what we need, what we desire. What feels right and what feels wrong. To state when we feel hurt. To apologize and repair when another has told us we hurt them.
