  1. When we grew up in homes where our own needs/wants were disregarded, and or we were told we were too much because of them, expressing our needs/wants in our adult relationships can be highly highly activating and often feels like an impossible task.

  2. Even so, expressing our wants/needs, asking if they can be met, is an important part of our healing, expansion, and self care and is the only way to encourage our relationships to grow in nourishing and fulfilling ways. Honesty is always required. Not expressing our needs/wants is a form of dishonesty and harms our relationships (and ultimately ourselves).

  3. For many of us a lot of personal childhood trauma is being stirred by all the Epstein Files talk. Which should be talked about and something done about. And my love is going out to all survivors of childhood sa and other abuse who are feeling all the rage, grief, and pain of their own experiences right now.
